Ordering
All orders are welcome - no minimum purchase amount is required. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express or PayPal. If you choose to pay through PayPal, we will contact you with payment instructions. PayPal orders must be paid prior to shipping; unpaid orders will be cancelled after 2 days. Orders paid by PayPal e-check will ship when payment clears.
Shipping
Shipping fees do not show in the shopping cart. The shipping cost is calculated after your order has been packaged. You will be notified of the shipping fee and adjusted purchase total before your credit card is charged. Orders ship via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx. Unless you request a specific carrier, we will ship your package the least expensive way. Most orders will ship within 1-2 business days. We have no handling fees, you pay the exact online shipping cost. Expedited and International shipping (USPS Priority Mail International) are also available.
Please note the USPS and Fed Ex shipping fees increased January, 2010. The minimum USPS Priority Mail fee now is approximately $5.00, or slightly more, depending on your zone.
Incorrect address
If the customer gives us an incorrect address and the package is returned, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees. Please make sure your address is correct before submitting your order.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel an order, please contact us by telephone or email as soon as possible - or no later than 24 hours after placing your order. Orders must be cancelled prior to shipment in order to receive a full refund.
Return policy
Returns must be made within 14 days of purchase. If you paid for your order by credit card, a credit will be issued and will appear on your billing statement. Shipping costs are not refundable. To ensure quality and purity of product, we cannot accept returns on raw materials or base products. We will take returns on other items if the product is unused and in original condition. Please contact us for instructions and the return shipping address if you have an item to return.
Refusal of delivery
If the customer refuses to accept delivery and the package is returned to us, we will charge a 20% restocking fee prior to processing a refund credit for the items purchased.
Privacy Statement
Your personal information will be kept confidential. We will not sell nor share your information with anyone.
Disclaimer
The Soap Jar is not responsible for any products you create using our supplies or recipes. You are responsible for testing product compatibility and safety for use with your own products.
